Villa d’Este is a big, imposing daughter of Kentucky Derby winner and leading sire Street Sense. Her first foal to race is the Grade 3 placed Benefactor, who has 5 wins and has earned over $275k. 

Villa d’Este has a yearling filly by the top sire Speightstown, who enjoyed another banner year in 2020 and is the sire of the current top horse in training, Charlatan. 

Munnings enjoyed a fantastic 2020, finishing 6th on the General Sire List and siring 6 individual graded stakes winners. He has sired the ultra talented filly Venetian Harbor from a Street Cry line mare, so the cross bodes well physically and on pedigree for Munnings & Villa d’Este. Munnings recently sired the top priced short yearling at the Keeneland January sale, with a colt bringing $475,000.
